Girls' Brigade

The Girls’ Brigade is a Christian youth organisation for girls of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. A varied programme of fun activities is offered, designed to educate, challenge and inspire young girls in a safe environment of Christian teaching. The programme is split into 4 main areas: Spiritual, Physical, Educational and Service.
The GB Aim - To help girls to become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, and through self-control, reverence and a sense of responsibility, to find true enrichment of life. Our Motto "Seek, Serve and Follow Christ "
The GB meets in Ballyclare each Tuesday evening from September to March. Explorer Section(age 3 - 7) meet from 6.00-7.15pm. Company Section (8+ years) meet from 7.00-9.15pm.
Boys' Brigade
The Boys' Brigade is a Christian youth organisation for boys of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. A varied programme of fun activities is offered, designed to educate, challenge and inspire young boys in a safe environment of Christian teaching.
BB Object - The advancement of Christ's kingdom among Boys and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-respect and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness. Our Motto "Sure and Steadfast" (also spelt Stedfast) is taken from Hebrews 6:19"
The BB meets in Ballyclare each Monday evening from September to March. Junior Section (8-10 yrs) 7- 8.30pm; Company Section (11+ yrs) - 7-9.15pm
'Spark' a group for younger boys aged 4 to those in P4, meets on a Monday night from 6-7pm.
Sunday School
The Sunday School meets each Sunday morning from September to May for children from pre-school to P7.

- Doagh 10.45am (during church service).
Bible Class
The Bible Class meets each Sunday morning from September to May for young people of secondary school age.

Youth Fellowship
The Youth Fellowship is open to young people Year 8+. It meets from September to May each Sunday night in Doagh at 7.30pm. The young people organise a late night (11.30pm) Christmas Eve Service and an Easter Sunday Evening Service.
Table Tennis
The Table Tennis Club meets from September to May in Ballyclare each Friday at 7.00pm. The club is open to age 8 upwards.
Sports Club
The Sports Club meets from September to April in Ballynure each Thursday 6.30–8pm (P1-P7) - 50p per child
Bowls / Fun Bowls
Bowls is seen mainly as an older persons sport, however, young people will be made very welcome.
League Bowls (September - April)- Monday night in Ballynure at 7.30pm and Wednesday night in Ballyclare at 7.30pm
Fun Bowls - Friday night in Ballynure at 7.30pm and Saturday night in Ballyclare at 7.30pm (when the League season ends, Ballyclare Fun Bowls meets on Wednesday)
